These popular programs focus on an in-depth analysis of a single issue of Jewish interest. Evening programs are offered in the spring and fall with guest lecturers. For 2009–2010, Adult Education and Social Action joined forces to engage in special programs related to Judaism and the environment.
Adult B’nai Mitzvah Class
Adults prepare for a B’nai Mitzvah. Classes are scheduled based upon demand.
Haftarah and torah trope classes introduce the melodies used in chanting haftarah and torah readings. Classes are scheduled based upon demand.
People’s Talmud Program
Held after Kiddush lunch several times during the year. This is a project developed by one of our congregants where individuals discuss how Judaism applies to their lives.
