Join us at the beautiful Pearlstone Retreat Center for a very special Shabbaton weekend on Friday, May 19 – Sunday, May 21. The weekend will be filled with events and activities for all ages and will build on the Year of Tzedek with a focus on environmental justice. Programing will be created in conjunction with Tzedek Beth Am’s Environmental Team, Pearlstone, and Hazon.
We hope that throughout the Shabbaton weekend, you will get the opportunity to create meaningful relationships with congregants in ways that cannot be formed within the confines of a few hours at services or events. We hope to provide multigenerational and interest led programming that will deepen our Shabbat experience and understanding of environmental justice. Most of all, we want to create a meaningful Shabbaton that is spiritual, engaging, and fun!
Description of Pearlstone Center
Situated on 180 acres of pasture, woods, and farmland, the expansive campus includes an environmentally friendly full-service conference and retreat center with a variety of outdoor facilities and an abundance of space to enjoy and explore.
The warmth of the building and the nature that surrounds it creates a serene environment for our Beth Am group to come together and connect as one.
Pearlstone’s full-service retreat and conference center is Shabbat-friendly and serves exclusively OU-Kosher food. The modern facilities and natural surroundings help bring Jewish values to life, offering the optimal setting for a variety of Jewish retreat groups.

Beth Am and Chevrei Tzedek 6th-12th graders will have the opportunity to stay with their friends and Shabbaton counselors in the teen suites at Pearlstone as part of the Beth Am Shabbaton.
They will take part in all Shabbaton programing, and we will also offer special youth group programing throughout the weekend.
Since we will have dedicated staff for this track, Kadima and USY participants can come with or without their families. The package for this track of the Shabbaton will include all of the same meals, programming, and other offerings. The price per teen is $100 for the full weekend.
If you have any questions about this track, please contact Rabbi Tyler Dratch.
