Potluck Kiddush

We have a longstanding tradition at Beth Am where congregants cook items to share at the Kiddush luncheon on the first Shabbat of the month. This tradition enhances our sense of community, making Beth Am “Feel like Home.”  We need your participation to make this potluck a success!

Whatever your practice might be at home, we would love for you to share your culinary creativity — There are a few basic rules:

  • Each main dish should server 8-16 people.
  • The items must be brought to the synagogue in a new, disposable foil pan with disposable serving utensils OR in a reusable pan and with reusable serving utensils that have all been cleaned well and not previously used for at least 24 hours.
  • All ingredients must be dairy or pareve (containing no animal products).
  • Served room temperature preferred; if your dish needs to be heated, please bring to Beth Am by 10:30 am.
  • Please identify the name of your dish on an index card or similarly sized piece of paper.

Our next potluck Kiddush lunch will be on Saturday, March 2nd after services. Please add your dish to this form here
