Selecting A Life Plan Community in Baltimore Webinar Series

To help Beth Am members over the age of 65 and their families make the best possible life plan community choices, Beth Am’er Jerry Doctrow and the marketing director of Roland Park Place, Ms. Becki Bees, will host three webinars on senior housing and care. Mr. Doctrow spent more than twenty years of his career working on seniors housing and care as a real estate consultant, stock analyst, and investment banker. He is a board member of Roland Park Place, which is a Life Plan Community in Baltimore where a number of Beth Am members live. He publishes the Robust Retirement blog, provides select consulting services in seniors housing and care, and has worked informally with family members and friends to help them understand their options. While both Mr. Doctrow and Ms. Bees have Roland Park Place connections, the webinar series will provide a comprehensive review of all senior housing and care choices, and is not a marketing effort for one particular community.

The three webinars will cover:

• Monday, January 9, 2023 – Options for community and home-based seniors housing and care available in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area – what’s available and what it costs.

• Tuesday, January 17, 2023 – Understanding, evaluating, and selecting a Life Plan Community. Life Plan communities are designed to provide stimulating environments for seniors and assure a full range of care as residents age. These communities usually charge a substantial entrance fee but offer the most discretionary and most comprehensive senior housing and care services.

• Monday, January 23, 2023 – A conversation with 3 – 4 Beth Am members who have moved to a Life Care Community, so you can learn about their experience.
